Sigma Mergers & Acquisitions Continues to Match Buyers and Sellers for Dallas Medical Spas

DALLAS, Tex. – Oasis Med Spa & Laser Center recently became the latest Dallas-area medical spa under new ownership thanks to Sigma Mergers & Acquisitions. Skin Media LLC completed the acquisition, making Oasis one of nearly half-a-dozen medical spas Sigma has worked with in the past few years.

medspaOasis founder and owner Goldie Dadgostar already had previous business ownership success, as well as aesthetic and medical laser experience. So it was a natural progression for her to open a medical spa in 2011. Ms. Dadgostar experienced immediate success with Oasis, and as the business continued to grow each year she started considering the idea of selling the spa and retiring.

“I knew two things when I started thinking about selling Oasis,” she said. “The first was that I had no idea what my business was worth, and the second was that privacy and confidentiality were so important to me if I was going to sell the spa.

“Luckily Jeremy (Furtick) was able to address both of those issues very quickly, so we were excited and comfortable moving forward with Sigma.”

George Vincent, president of Skin Media LLC, had no direct experience owning and operating a retail medical spa business, however he has years of experience and success running a private label skin care development and manufacturing company in Carrollton called Botanical Science.

“I had been looking for a suitable medical spa business to buy for several years as part of a larger business plan involving a skin care products company I already own,” Vincent said, “I needed a medical spa with a great reputation, a prime location and a loyal customer base. After considering dozens of options, Oasis proved to be the perfect opportunity for me.”

Looking back on the past few months and the sale of her business, Ms. Dadgostar appreciates the expertise, professionalism and leadership provided by Mr. Furtick and Sigma.

“Thankfully Jeremy was there with us through this entire process,” she said. “There were so many things we realized during this adventure that we didn’t know about selling a business. He was able to guide us through all of those questions and concerns – sometimes before they even came up in the deal – to make sure we were successful.”

Oasis Med Spa & Laser Center ( is located in Dallas on Frankford Road, just west of the Dallas North Tollway.

About Dallas Business Broker

Jeremy comes from a long line of entrepreneurs – his great-grandfather ran a Dallas dairy farm at the turn of the 20th Century, his grandmother founded one of Dallas’ oldest private schools in the 1950s and his parents started a specialty advertising firm in Garland in 1982 that is still in operation today. So it’s no surprise that Jeremy would find himself working directly with business owners today. He understands the unique challenges business owners face and knows how important business transaction services are to their futures. Jeremy’s education, creativity and experience, along with his straight-forward, meticulous personality are all keys to his success. Prior to Sigma Mergers & Acquisitions' ending its contract with VR Business Brokers, the world’s largest business sales franchise organization, and becoming an independent firm, Jeremy became one of the most decorated and successful agents in the 35-year history of that franchise. Starting in 2007, his first full year with Sigma, Jeremy was named VR’s No.1 worldwide agent – the first “rookie” to achieve this prestigious feat in franchise history. He finished No.1 a second time in 2013, becoming the franchise’s only repeat winner. And in 2014 he was well on his way to another No.1 ranking before Sigma ended its franchise relationship. Jeremy was also a top-ten agent three other times, and received the franchise’s quarterly National Victory Register award 25 times in 33 quarters. Jeremy graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 with a B.S. in journalism and a marketing minor, before earning an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2003. Prior to joining HBG, Jeremy spent seven years at KRLD NewsRadio 1080 and the Texas Rangers Radio Network in advertising sales and sales management, then served as vice president of accounts with Reef Securities, an oil and gas broker-dealer. Jeremy is also a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Texas.
